Istrail is a leading Norwegian producer and purchaser of transport materials. The company also has a big rental program for transport equipment.
Istrail AS and Istrail Ulefoss AS are owned for 100% by the Istrail Group. Istrail S.p.z o o is a fully owned daughter company in Poland, and Istrail AB is a daughter company in Sweden. Recently there are also established daughter companies in the Netherlands and Ukraina. The Istrail Group is the biggest body builder in Norway and among the biggest in the Nordic countries. The Groups huge production is divided on Ulefoss, Norway, and Golub-Dobrzyn, Poland. The Group has grown fast during the last years.

Istrail sells special body's to the Dutch army
The factory of the Istrail-Group in Poland, which has a large production of dumper bodies and trailers, has started the delivery of 50 special bodies to the Dutch army.
At first sight the bodies are something between an ordinary dumper body and a tipper. The body is built on a hook lift frame, which can be handled as a conventional hook lift, but also as a hydraulic tipper. And, of course, the body can be parked on the ground. The bodies are mounted on four axle Scania chassis with all wheel drive. The trucks are multi purpose vehicles which can be used for many different forms of transport, from transporting medicine during crises to build campsites and roads on an international basis. Istrail has got the order from Uniteam International, which has many deliveries of equipment to the armies in many Nato countries. The special bodies from Istrail are constructed and are produced according to AQAP, the quality norm of Nato.
